NEW SUCCESSES FOR PWT ITALIA

The season of PWT Italia athletes is coming to life, engaged on various national and international fronts.

Stay in Spain for a training session and for the first competitions of 2023 for Riccardo Scalet, in the company of the Norwegian club Halden SK, in whose ranks he has been playing since 2018 for the competitions in Scandinavia. “I spent three weeks training first in Burgohondo, north of Madrid, for the Maximus O-Meeting, then near Valencia for the Costa Calida trophy. Here we had three days of World Ranking competitions involving over 2200 participants”. Good performances and excellent sensations for our runner, allowing him to bring home a satisfying fifth place in the Middle and a victory in the Sprint race.

Furthermore, Riccardo Scalet and Sebastian Inderst, an important call-up in the blue jersey for Round 1 of the World Cup, which will be held from 25 April to 1 May in Østfold in Norway.

To prepare for the appointment Sebastian Inderst, for the M Elite category, will also be present at the training camp of the senior National Team from 6 to 11 April in Pilsen and Česká Lípa in the Czech Republic, to which he was called up in the M Junior category also Alessandro Bedin.

Furthermore, on stage over the weekend, the athletes from Veneto engaged in the relative Sprint regional championship, held in Colle Umberto in the province of Treviso, with a fantastic hat trick. In the W16 category, Celeste Nike Pretto climbs to the top step of the podium thus obtaining the title of Venetian champion, as does Katiuscia Sibiglia in the W45 category. In the M45, on the other hand, Pierantonio Pretto ranks third overall, however conquering the title of Venetian vice-champion.

Also for the W16 category, Celeste Nike Pretto is called up for the training camp of the National Youth Team, scheduled from 6 to 10 April in Velingrad in Bulgaria.
