Just concluded the training camp in Sarpsborg (Norway) for PWT athletes Sebastian Inderst, Riccardo and Tommaso Scalet, together with the Italian national team.
The camp was a great opportunity to run and test the Norwegian terrains which will held the World Orienteering Championships 2019 in August. Main focus of the camp was to visit different relevant terrains in the Sarpsborg area, testing the runnability and different orienteering techniques needed to navigate well in those areas. The trainings, prepared by the national team head coach Mikhail Mamleev included: long distance, mass start, corridor and control picking o-trainings. The team, composed also by Francesca Taufer, Verena Troi and Anna Caglio, stayed in wonderful and quiet house in the countryside of Sarpsborg the same accommodation that will be used during WOC 2019.
A really successful camp which lead then Riccardo and Sebastian to a good performance at 10Mila 2019.
